BILL TO CLARIFY RULES ON COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE LENDING INTRODUCED

Congressman Robert Pittenger (R-NC) and Congressman David Scott (D-GA) on April 26, 2017, introduced legislation to clarify which loans must comply with the regulatory capital rules related to "high volatility commercial real estate" (HVCRE) that the Federal Reserve and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency adopted un January, 2015.
