OCC REPORTS IMPROVEMENT IN MORTGAGE PERFORMANCE

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) reported a slight improvement in the performance of first-lien mortgages in the federal banking system during Ql 2019. 96.2% of mortgages included in the OCC Mortgage Metrics Report, First Quarter 2019 (https://bit.lv/2JwOJXD) were current and performing at the end of the quarter, compared to 95.6% a year earlier.
