THE INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL KICKS OFF BUILDING SAFETY MONTH 2019

Beginning May 1, the International Code Council (ICC), together with corporations, government agencies, professional associations, and nonprofits, began celebrating Building Safety Month, an annual international campaign that raises awareness about building safety and the importance of building codes in making communities safer and more resilient. This year, the ICC will explore the roles of building codes in the areas of disaster mitigation, access to safe water, job opportunities in the building industry, and innovations in building safety.
