K.I.D.S. is seeking caring, generous manufacturers, retailers and industry leaders to help with cash or new product donations for six programmatic areas of need.rn1. K.I.D.S. & Disaster relief On average, more than 65 million people become flood victims each year around the globe. When hurricane Katrina struck, hundreds of Gulf Coast families were helped with $12 million worth of items such as socks, towels, furnishings and toys through agencies such as the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank and Beau Rivage. In 2005, thernyoungest victims of the tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia were aided by more than $4 million in clothing and blankets.
