Unbeat-ableSale.com Inc., parent company of UnbeatableSale.com and nearly 50 other eeommerce sites, is looking to broaden its offering of fabrics following an initial test. The highest interest among the retailer's shoppers is for upholstery fabrics, although it is also testing apparel fabrics, said purchasing director Fli Blumenthal. Suppliers need to have the ability to drop-ship within two to three days and must be able to provide photos of fabric swatches. Development of the copy describing the swatches is collaborative. "Obviously, communication is key," Blumenthal told HTT. "Number one for us the reliability of the supplier."
