Yves Delorme Ramps Up Retail Revamps

On the heels of a new marketing strategy that puts more emphasis on digital, French luxury linens brand Yves Delorme is now re-engerizing its retail business with store refurbishing projects lined up for 2015 as well as new "corner" rollouts. Oliver Newman, evp of Yves Delorme U.S., told H&TT that the company has identified at least four East Coast stores it will renovate this year as part of a grander initiative it started two years ago to update each of its 24 stores nationwide. The projects start this spring with a major renovation to the Baltimore store. The other three will follow later in the year. Newman said these sites were selected because Yves Delorme sees their respective markets as areas of growth. Additionally, new management at those sites have helped spur business. "We started the initiative in 2013 in terms of updating and upgrading our retail stores," Newman said. "It's a five-year plan, and we are well underway in completing that strategy."
