Croscill has a new story to tell this week at the New York Home Fashions Market, one that involves both people and a renewed sense of mission about a venerable industry brand. "This is a great opportunity as well as a responsibility," said Margaritta Topielski, who now leads the Croscill/Ex-Cell Home Fash-ions/Glenoit group. "Croscill has been around for over 70 years and there exists passion around the brand in the marketplace, among consumers, and within the company itself." Topielski joined the company a year ago as cfo and took the lead position in late July. Prior to that she spent seven years at LVMH, the last four as business unit vp/managing director for Parisian cosmetics firm Make Up Forever. Her career has also included positions at Derek Lam International, Samsonite and Church & Dwight.
