New York Home Fashions Market is always an occasion for new resources to make their debut to the trade and for established suppliers to launch new brands. Festivities during spring market week heralded both. Standard Textile, which has been manufacturing bedding and bath linens for the hospitality market for 80 years, marked the launch of Standard Textile Home - a new division creating goods for the retail trade. Patina Vie and licensee Vista Home Fashions opened a 3.000-sq.-ft. showroom at 230 Fifth Ave. to house their bedding and accessories collection, which spans more than 400 skus. Saturday Knight Ltd. teamed with HGTV and TLC star Vern Yip on a collection of modernly styled bath coordinates, table linens and kitchen textiles.
