It was two decades ago, at the age of 26, that designer Stacy Garcia turned her affinity for textiles into her first entrepreneurial endeavor. LebaTex, named for the Yiddish word for "love," this year marks its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, the company is launching a special anniversary collection with "20 of the industry's most prolific interior designers," Garcia told POSH. Looking back at its roots, from the basement of her then-townhouse, the designer talked to POSH about LebaTex's steady ascent as a go-to source of fashion performance textiles for hospitality and, in particular, the interior design community.
