For most retailers, the thought of sponsorship in an NCAA Basketball Tournament is a pipe dream, but for Rochester, N.Y.-based Tuthill Lighting local backing has proved very rewarding - and this year it was particularly profitable for one lucky and tal-ented individual. "Eight years ago we started Sponsoring a Halftime Half-Court Supershot at the Brighton High School varsity boys and girls basketball games," relates Bruce Bellwood, owner of Tuthill Lighting. "Anyone who sank a shot would receive $ 1,000 in lighting from us. It has become a fixture at all of the games, and attention is on center court at halftime. The sponsorship prize has added another level of fun to the games and exciting vis-ibility for our store."
