There's no denying the fact that the economy has dampened lighting sales. "This is the hand we've been dealt," Denis remarks. "We can either sit around and mourn about how great things used to be, or we can re-energize ourselves and our staff. We need to redo our stores and redesign our displays so everything looks new. We need to put forth positive energy, not 'Sale' signs." When money is tight and you can't afford to add a lot of new merchandise, Denis says there are ways to rejuvenate the stock you have. Regroup your visual displays and vignettes by painting the walls or adding a background using either photography paper or fabric.
