LUTRON RECEIVES REGIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) bestowed one of its five 201 1 Leadership Awards on Coopersburg, Pa.-based Lutron Electronics during the group's annual celebration in Philadelphia. Mark MacCracken, U.S. Green Building Council board chair and CEO of CALMAC Manufacturing, presented the award to Lutron's vp/residential sales Michael Smith. Every year DVGBC acknowledges companies, individuals, and organizations that have advanced green building design and practice in the Delaware Valley. Lutron was recognized within the Business Leadership category. The standards by which recipients are determined include: leading the implementation of a facility-wide green construction, operation, and or/management practices; introducing green practices into manufacturing processes; and conducting community outreach to promote green building awareness throughout a workforce and/or the broader community.
