Facing inevitable spending cuts, and the uncertainty of a new government, we must continue to enhance service delivery for our clients in order to win and maintain contracts and retain this position.rnI have been with May Gurney for a year, job-sharing the MD role with Peter Batts. Before that, I was with Balfour Beatty for seven years as director of facilities management and operations director for PFi hospital mobilisations. I have also been an operations director with McAlpine (now Carillion) and worked for Royal Mail Engineering Construction (ROMEC). As a result, I understand the importance of public sector service delivery but also how to drive healthy business performance.
