Hazell & Jeffries, Kelly Bros and RMF Construction Services have had their bills called after submitting bids to Surrey County Council for a £20m surface dressing contract. A decision is due this month (February) and the council may appoint more than one firm to the contract, which comprises annual surface dressing over the next five years. Four contractors are expecting a decision this month (February) on the destination of a £6m job to create a transport hub in Port Talbot, south Wales. Alun Griffiths, Andrew Scott, Dawnus and Dyfed-based T Richard Jones have all submitted bids to Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council for the scheme, which is expected to start on site in April with work running for six months.
