Rethinking Radar

Radar (Radio Detection and Ranging) was first demonstrated in 1935 and radar-based vehicle detection has been used on the UK road network for nearly 30 years. In that time, there has been massive progress in radar-related technology, affordability and processing power. Modern radars are not subject to the limitations that designers have traditionally perceived.
