The Government has been clear that air quality is a priority for its domestic agenda. With the Queen's Speech referring to electric vehicle (EV) technology and London mayor Sadiq Khan proposing the extension of ultra-low emissions zones across London, air quality is in the spotlight. With this in mind, like many companies, Ringway has been examining ways to reduce its carbon footprint, to see how collaborative working could provide new solutions to reducing emissions and to promote the switch to EVs. Key to our thinking has been the provision of infrastructure, which is crucial to increasing EV use but as local authorities face increasing budget cuts, it has been a difficult problem to resolve.
