EXPERIENCES OF PROVIDING LIBRARY SERVICES TO DISTANCE LEARNERS IN HEALTH SCIENCES

This study presents the experiences of IGNOU in offering library services to its distance learners undertaking various Health Science programmes. Discusses the facilities available and services offered through the three-tier library setup. Presents brief of the programmes offered in Health Sciences. Identifies the various issues and options for tackling the same with a mention of the future plans.
