Leema is determined to offer products and systems, which do everything easily and simply - even in the most complex multichannel installations. This is done via its 'Intelligent Protocol System' (LIPS).rnAs control centre for its Reference system, the Pyxis preamp has every feature and facility you could want. But without a quirky user interface, cumbersome menu, or flight-deck-style remote.rnApart from Standby there are just two main controls: volume and source selector, which cycles through the inputs, and switches between Listen input and Recordrnoutput modes. Buttons for AV Direct, Eq on/off, Invert phase, Mono and Mute are self-explanatory, while Setup will access hidden Bass, Treble, Balance and Gain controls. With the usual array of line-level RCA inputs, there is a coaxial digital input and output, and a USB port.
