Munich based msm-studios, having worked closely with the 2L (Lyndberg Lyd) recording company of Norway in pioneering Blu-ray music discs, is proposing a straightforward 'CopyToGo' feature that it has developed. Users can copy songs of a 'Pure Audio Blu-ray' disc from a Profile 2.0 BD player via a network connection directly to a PC - for listening at low-res on portable media devices, or burning to CD for playback in cars. Pure Audio BDs navigate just like CDs, so no video display is required, even to select the stereo or multichannel tracks. You switch streams using the four colour buttons on a BD player's remote controller.
