I enjoy reading Hi-Fi News a lot and especially liked the Hot Rats 'special' in the August 2009 issue. I also enjoyed the Michael Jackson special in the September 2009 issue and I am looking forward to more in the series. Paul Miller asked for suggestions for future issues. I really like The Manhattan Transfer. I have bought (and cleaned) some of their LPs from secondhand stores and they sound simply great on vinyl. It's not just the songs: the voices and orchestration are wonderful too, and that holds true whether the recording has been made of the band in a studio or playing live.rnOther suggestions (though I fear that you will have too many already): Neil Diamond, John Denver, Phil Collins, Sting, Roxy Music and anything by Frank Zappa (Sheik Yerbouti, Tinseltown Rebellion, Burnt Weeny Sandwich...).
