This could have been improved by lowering the speaker's impedance but Audioplan has preferred to ensure that the Kontrapunkt presents an easy load to the amplifier. Its minimum modulus of 5.6ohm justifies the nominal 6ohm specification and modest phase angles ensure that the minimum EPDR (equivalent peak dissipation resistance) is a relatively high 3.1 ohm at 168Hz. Overall, the on-axis frequency response trend is pretty flat to 9kHz, with only mild convexity increasing the output between 1 and 3kHz, but in the last audible octave above 10kHz the output is raised and quite uneven.
