From 1972, one of Motown's finest acts' finest moments. This was the LP that unleashed the magnificent No. 1 hit, 'Papa Was A Rollin' Stone', previously covered (I believe) by the Undisputed Truth but rendered a multi-layered, all-time stone-funky masterpiece with a performance that still dazzles. After a decade-plus as a hit machine, but plagued with personnel problems and line-up changes, the Temps' new success arrived at just the right time to revitalise the group's career.
