Audioplan & Deltec (£1225/£350)

As any audio enthusiast will attest, once you've a system of high-end components, the choice of cables becomes critical in assuring desired performance. By happenstance we acquired two new luxurious interconnect cables from Audioplan and Deltec in the HFN office within a few days of each other so it seemed opportune to listen to them side by side. Each was auditioned in turn between phono amplifier and preamp. Audioplan of Germany developed its first MusiCable some 25 years ago. The UIC88A we have here is a new flagship design priced at a not inconsiderable £ 1225.
