Nairn held out against the outboard D-to-A converter longer than most but there's no evidence of its new DAC being behind the game as a result. Indeed, Nairn has developed its own solution to the S/PDIF jitter issue, comprising a buffer memory and switchable fixed-frequency master oscillators which are alternated in order to match, on average, the input data rate.
