RIP SACD

Iwas surprised at Keith Howard's recent claim that the 'music-buying public allowed SACD and DVD-A to wither on the vine' since it was his very criticisms and doubts about the medium that, initially at least, discouraged some of us from investing in it. A few years ago Sony was said to be abandoning the medium and the format war with DVD-A was very off-putting. I have a collection of very fine Pony Canyon classical HDCDs and didn't want another dying format cluttering the shelves.
