DarTZeel, distortion and 'the first watt'

I read the review of our NHB-845 amplifier with great interest and, in particular, the results of the lab report. For those readers of Hi-Fi News interested in why the darTZeel NHB-458 has a decreasing distortion when output power is increased, I thought I'd share my thoughts. All darTZeel electronics are based on the very same fundamentals. We employ as few components in the signal path as possible, with as few semiconductors; we opt for no feedback anywhere, save for the voltage gain stage and no compensation of any kind.
