WATT-HOUR METER OF A THREE-PHASE POWER SYSTEM USING SHUNT RESISTORS, CAPABLE OF IMPLEMENTING CURRENT MEASUREMENT WITHOUT DISTORTION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ANY STRONG MAGNETS
PURPOSE: A watt-hour meter of a three-phase power system using shunt resistors is provided to measure power without distortion even when a current contains a lot of direct current components.;CONSTITUTION: A watt-hour meter includes a shunt resistor part(310), an independent power supply part(330), and a measuring unit(300). The shunt resistor part is serially connected to one of the three-phase currents and measures the current. A control part calculates power consumption by using the measured current value from the shunt resistor part.
