LAB REPORT: AUDEL ART CG TOWER (£3725)

Audelclaimsahigh91dB sensitivity for the CC Tower - which is a little over 1dB higher than we recorded, our measurement showing 89.7dB on pink noise input, averaged across the review pair. This is partly achieved through low impedance, although the minimum modulus of 3.8ohm at 219Hz is perfectly consistent with Audel's 4ohm nominal figure. Impedance phase angles are unusually low, so the minimum EPDR (equivalent peak dissipation resistance) is a relatively high 2.3ohm at 110Hz, indicating that the CC Tower is a relatively easy load to drive.
