'I joined Simaudio full-time in 1998, around the time the company was introducing its Moon Series components and planning to expand its worldwide sales,' says VP of Marketing Lionel Goodfield. By chance Lionel found himself helping out in a friend's hi-fi store in Montreal in the mid-'90s and discovered an aptitude for marketing and selling hi-fi. 'Of course, I'd been a music lover and hi-fi enthusiast since high school -even as a teenager I'd saved up for a pair of Magneplanars - but after graduation worked as a software development engineer, and never really imagined I'd end up working in the high-end audio business.
