Denmark is not only home to some very popular loudspeaker brands but it's also the address of Cato Audio, a high-end brand with a complete system under its belt. Its core electronics components include the AMP-150 integrated amp, rated at 2×150W/8ohm and sporting a beautifully sculptured alloy case that contributes to its 14kg weight. Of particular interest is its 'pre-heating' circuit designed to reduce any warm-up time. The amp is partnered by the CDD-1 CD player/USB DAC (pictured). Both units have matching (XLR) outputs and inputs and are priced at £5290 apiece.
