The magical pairing of Sinatra and his arranger-conductor Nelson Riddle was orchestrated by Capitol Records producer, Voyle Gilmore.rnThey had first teamed up on Sinatra's second recording session for Capitol, held on April the 30th, 1953, at which four standards were put down on tape. It soon became clear that the two of them had an uncanny rapport, enjoying a chemistry that enabled Riddle to supply Frank with the taste, sensitivity and wittiness that would be associated with all of his greatest vocal works.
