Whither goest the headphone? Is it enough to save/revitalise an entire industry? Is there a limit to the number of headphones the world can absorb? Without exception, some makers of separates above crud level are looking at a bleak, worrisome future, and the lifeline appears to be two ear-cups, a headband and 2m of wire.
