Philips CD150: The last 14-bit Philips. Same chips as the earlier models but flimsy plastic build and basic analogue stages result in a less exciting sound. The CDM2 transport was not as durable as the earlier designs. Philips CD 160: Essentially a 16-bit version of the CD150. The famous TDA1541 DAC chip made its debut here, but the sound quality still isn't at the top of the Philips league.
