Calling armchair detectives

My son recently purchased a secondhand Linn LP12 turntable from a dealer in Surrey. The salesperson was unable to tell us the make, model and original price of this beautiful looking arm, which came with the deck. Would you be able to identify the brand of the arm from the pictures I've supplied? The cartridge is a Benz-Micro Wood selling for £900. My son feels he has a great deck, arm and cartridge for £2400 and I'm inclined to agree with him. The arm tube has holes in it like a Swiss cheese! My bet is that it is a Rega.
