Aurex Micro System 15

A late '70s subsidiary of Toshiba, the Aurex marque had two main products in its catalogue: a noise reduction system for tape recorders and the ground-breaking range of miniature hi-fi products seen here. The Aurex System 15 first appeared in 1979 and comprised four main units. There was a pre and power amp, FM tuner and a cassette deck. Bought as a package with a remote, the price was £ 1000.
