I was interested to read Ken Kessler's reply to the letter from Graham Harfleet in the October Sound Off pages in which Ken shared his experiences with cartridges he has stored and returned to after a long absence. Ken explained that his pick-ups are stored in a tray with dividers, on a shelf below his turntable and that he ensures they are kept cool or at room temperature. As a result, he said that he's never had a cartridge fail due to its age.
