You know something is mainstream when it's the subject of a 'part-work'. Miniature helmets from Star Wars, historical F1 cars and the like. The king of part-works is DeAgostini (with an 'e' and an 'i'), which gave us Jazz At 33rpm. The latest is one some of you might consider subscribing to: 23 freshly-pressed Beatles tPs. It starts with Abbey Road for £9.99, then £ 1 6.99 per tP after that, with £24.99 for doubles. The company will also supply boxes to house them, Beatles-related accessories, etc, and I have to say, spreading the cost out is easier for most people than buying the complete box set from EMI, regardless of the subscription's higher price.
