Garrard MRM/101

The Garrard MRM/101 is an 'impulse noise reduction system' for gramophone records. The unit is designed to connect between the pick-up and an auxiliary input of the main amplifier, and when activated it exchanges bad scratch clicks on a playing record for tiny gaps of 'silence', which are far less disturbing than the staccato clicks. The unit is both made and designed in the UK, and it really works.
