Where's all that jazz?

Not so long ago, it seemed that a turning-point had been reached, even for music that's still seen as a minority interest. If you were buying a new jazz album, even one from a small independent label, there was a fairly good chance you could find it on vinyl. But (to use a mixed metaphor) the trend seems to have plateaued and, I think, there are possibly fewer new LP offerings in this sector than there were a few months ago.
