I'm just adding my voice and a question to the 'Keeping radio active' correspondence that appeared in the January 2019 issue. In our household, radio is a constant companion, used to listen to news as well as music. The radios we have are a mixture of FM, DAB and Internet. Inevitably that means some odd time delay effects as you move from room to room, with a few fractions of a second between FM and DAB broadcasts, and seconds between either of those and the same programme heard via the Internet.
