From Northern Lights to Capitol lights

This year's Capitol Christmas Tree was delivered to the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol Building on an extendable trailer pulled by a new Kenworth T680. Spec'ed by PacLease to transport the 74-foot-tall Lutz Spruce, it was driven by John Schank, a Lynden Transport driver and the Alaska Trucking Association's 2014 driver of the year. Schank has driven more than 5 million miles in Alaska, where this year's tree was cut.
