ISO50001 accreditation boost

The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) has officially granted CIBSE Certification accreditation to certify Energy Management Systems against ISO 50001. This means that the company now has the necessary accreditation to certify organisations aiming to use ISO 50001 Certification to meet the requirements of the ESOS Regulations. The system aims to improve energy performance by reducing usage, whilst increasing the security, efficiency and sustainability of the supply. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) estimates that the 50001 standard can influence up to 60% of the world's energy usage in the coming years of its implementation.
