The examinations on the heat transfer in de- veloping laminar oscillating pipe flow presented before [1] have been extended to include turbulence as well. A suitable low-Reynolds-number k-ε-turbulence model was incorporated in an existing 2D-simulation code for os- cillating flow conditions and subsequent examinations focused on the heat transfer associated with turbulent oscillating flow. The calculations cover a wide range of the characteristic parameters and the results are sum- marised in form of new heat transfer correlations to suit with the operating conditions of regenerative thermal machines.
