Contemporary diagnosis and management of pulmonary hypertension

Over the last 20 years, significant advances have been made in the understanding, diagnosis and management of patients with PAH and CTEPH. It is important that a correct diagnosis is made, particularly differentiating PAH, PH-LHD and PH-lung because of the different responses to PAH-targeted therapy. CTEPH is potentially curative with PEA, and therefore it is a diagnosis that must not be missed.
