摘要

CLIC-on-Health, a community project to bring high-quality health information to the people of the Rochester, New York area, includes a "one-stop-shopping" Web site that offers information on local health services, as well as dynamic links to reputable national health information sources. CLIC-on-Health also has a strong training component. To date, instruction has been provided to librarians from various library types, as well as school nurses, health agency personnel, senior center personnel, and the seniors they serve. Though CLIC-on-Health is a successful project, it is clear that along the way, project planners made assumptions that later turned out to be invalid. This article is a CLIC-on-Health reality check. Planning assumptions and implementation realities are reviewed and juxtaposed.
