Contractors, the Law and Safety

Those that utilize the services of contractors must carefully consider a variety of important legal and jurisdictional issues that in some cases could negate the apparent cost advantages associated with engaging an outside professional. (See Cover Story, page 8.) First and foremost amongst these considerations would be the inference that no individual in Canada can contract out of their statutory rights or obligations.
