Lng fleet Unprecedented - if not unexpected - growth in the LNG business is providing more work for shipyards, ship operators, training companies and equipment suppliers. But such rapid growth brings with it a new set of concerns. Whenever the Bulletin has reviewed the world LNG fleet, new records have been set in terms of fleet size and ships on order. This year's survey of the sector is, in that respect, no different. What is new, however, is the sheer scale of growth. The list of ships delivered over the past 15 months (see page 30) is huge by comparison with previous years, representing some 12.5 per cent of the active fleet in numerical terms.
