With more than 25,000 new units consumed per annum in Europe, the main driver behind this steady if not astronomical growth is the fact that all-plastics intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) are proving to be ideally suited to a broad range of closed-loop industrial applications. Indeed, while employed in large numbers by chemical producers, these units are increasingly winning favour with chemical distributors and their customers in addition to users in the pharmaceutical and food sectors.
