Dangerous goods transport business has been brisk over the last 12 months, and new facilities for cleaning, repairing and servicing tanks are offering fleet owners more options for maintaining their equipment. Meanwhile, in Europe, additional national markets are organising to take part in the European Cleaning Document (ECD) programme, the scheme sponsored by the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) and overseen by the European Federation of Tank Cleaning Organisations (EFTCO), aimed at providing uniformity in cleaning documentation and standards on a pan-European scale.
