European tank cleaning depot operator Cotac is continuing its field test of innovative automated internal tank grinding technology with the aim of evaluating the impact of a tank's internal surface roughness on corrosion resistance and cleanability. The field test is utilising Robogrind, a first-of-its-kind mechanical device that performs automated, computer-calibrated grinding work on the inside of a tank.
